Established in the early 1960s and re-established at their present location in 1996, Gulf Wine Merchants has been Brickell's number ONE wine and spirits shop. Every single wine that Gulf Wine Merchants has to offer has been tasted by Luis Bordon, the store's wine buyer and specialist. With offerings of over 500 brands, much of Gulf's success is due to the fact that the wines selected are for "its customers' palates and not for any one specific." Gulf's wine and spirits selection offers an outstanding variety of both the big names at great prices as well as the boutique wines from around the world.

Gulf Wine Merchants offers free parking to their patrons and on select Fridays the doors are open for complimentary wine and spirits tastings. Nestled on 1836 Coral Way (SW 3rd Ave), Gulf Wine Merchants offers complimentary delivery for Brickell customers.
